The Great Wall

The Great Wall ( )

The Great Wall is a gigantic defensive project whose beginning can be traced as far back as the 7^th century B.C . The Great Wall is known as one of the world's wonders. Starting from Jiayuguan in Gansu Province in the west, it run through mountains, grasslands, and desserts, passes through six provinces and one municipality and finally reaches into the sea at Shanhaiguan in Hebei in the east, covering 6,700 kilometers.

Starting to climb the Great Wall on 7:00 am.

Well! I was Wrong

I thought I was near the top, but after a turn, I found that I still have a long way to go.

Some Encouragement

I finally reached a sign, which encouraged me that I am a real " men" because I visited the Great Wall.

But it is not the top of the Great Wall.

Take a Rest

I realized that I still have a long way to go. So why not take a rest.

Wondering

I was wondering whether should I continue. Well! I have decided to rest here and waiting for President Clinton (June 28).

Upset

I was upset that President Clinton did not come. Well! This section of Great Wall may be too difficult for him. He visited another section of the Great Wall.

Go Home

Finally, I gave up and decided to go home. We spent more than 3 hours here but only finished a very tiny portion of the Great Wall. Amazing!
