FOR USING MS WORD TO DESIGN WEB PAGE
First, login in to the MS Word, click on "File" from menu bar, if you see the menu "Save as HTML ...", then the tools have been successfully installed. If not, go to Office setup and make sure that you select to install "Authoring Tool" during the installation.
Click on "Format" and then "Font" from the menu bar, you can then change font, style, size, and color, among others from the information window.
The easy way is to use table to organize information and then hide the outside boarder of the table. Click on "Table" and then "Insert Table" from the menu bar. Follow the instruction to complete the table insertion. Please do not use "Tab" for aligning purpose.
The easy way is to use table to organize and align your picture and description. After insert table, move your mouse cursor to the place where picture to be insert. Click on "Insert," "Picture," and then "From File" from the menu bar. Select the file name of the picture to be inserted . following the instructions to complete the insertion.
Use mouse to highlight the word where hyperlink to be added. Click on "Insert" and then "Hyperlink" from the menu bar. Enter the "URL" label (or copy and paste from the actual web page). Follow the instruction to complete the link. This task can be done in Word mode or HTML mode.
Definitely yes! You can do that as normal as you typing them in Word document. The question is whether do you know how to do those in Word. Enter each item, press "Enter" key after item. Click on "Numbering" and "Bullet" button from the menu bar. Click on "Format" and then "Bullets and Numbering ..." to change their format and staring numbers if needed.
Enter the contents as typing the normal Word document. Enhance the document by adding color, font size, style, etc. Click on "File" and then "Save As..." or "Save as HTML..." from the menu bar. Yes! You can. Login in the MS Word as usual. Click on "File" and "Open" from the menu bar, then enter the file name (with extension htm or html). The document will be opened in HTML mode. However, you may notice that the font size may have been changed.
Sure! You had better take the advantage of spelling check from Word. Do the spelling check before conversion. You can also perform the spelling check in HTML mode.
