What is PRODSS?

PRODSS, an acronym of Production Decision Support System, is a spreadsheet-based system,designed to support the decision makings for production/operations management. The system is specially designed for use with PROSIM. PRODSS was developed using the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) language of Microsoft's Excel version 5.0.

Systems Requirements for PRODSS

The minimum hardware / software requirements for running PRODSS are:

Personal computer with a 386 or faster processor (CPU).
A VGA or higher-resolution graphic board and monitor.
One 3 1/2" high density disk drive and a hard drive with 2MB disk space.
4MB of available random access memory (RAM).
A Microsoft mouse or compatible pointing device.
A Windows compatible printer (optional, if reports and graphics are to be printed).
A copy of Microsoft Excel version 5.0 or later.
Running MS-DOS version 5.0 or later and Windows version 3.1 or later in 386 enhanced mode.
