System requirements
PROSIM III was written in Microsoft's Visual Basic version 3 under
the popular Windows environment. The minimum hardware and
software to run PROSIM are:
- Personal computer with a 386 or faster processor (CPU).
- A VGA or higher-resolution graphic board and monitor.
- One 3 1/2" high-density (1.44 MB) disk drive and a hard
drive with 3-5 MB available.
- A Microsoft mouse or compatible pointing device.
- 4 MB of available random access memory (RAM). 8 MB recommended.
- A Windows compatible printer (if reports and graphs
are to be printed).
- Running MS-DOS version 5.0 or later and Windows
version 3.1 or later in 386 enhanced mode.
PROSIM can be run in an operating system that is 100% compatible
with Windows 3.1. Examples of such systems may include Microsoft's
Windows for Work Group 3.11, Windows NT, Windows 95 and IBM OS/2
Warp. However, we only tested the system using Windows 3.1, Windows
for Work Group 3.11, and Windows 95. Take your own risk, if you
would like to try it on other operating systems.
